Local Solutions, Multiple Impacts.
Akal Lokal is a digital encyclopedia dedicated to preserving and showcasing local knowledge about the sustainable management of Indonesia's natural resources, initiated by Terasmitra.
This platform has been developed based on Indonesian indigenous knowledge gathered through the GEF SGP Phase 6 and Phase 7 projects. Its focus spans several key areas, including Wakatobi, Semau, Nusa Penida, the Bodri River Basin (DAS Bodri), the Balantieng River Basin (DAS Balantieng), the Nantu Wildlife Sanctuary (SM Nantu), the Gorontalo Grand Forest Park (TaHuRa), and Sabu Raijua.
